Sbermanka ATMs have already been installed in the Crimea. Throughout the year, the self-service network will operate across the peninsula.

According to TASS, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov He said that Sberbank’s first client offices will open in the first half of 2023 in Crimea and Sevastopol.

“Of course, the arrival of such a large player will significantly improve the availability and quality of banking services for the population,” said Ustinov.

According to him, the launch of Sberbank in the Crimean peninsula will attract many other large companies and retail chains. In mid-January 2023, Sberbank announced that the team of client offices has been fully formed and will begin work on the Crimean peninsula in the near future.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow and the Krasnodar Territory are leaders in issuing credit cards in Russia.
