It had been banned from the Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations since 1992, or ever since Sarah Ferguson had divorced Prince Andrew and then been immortalized having her toe sucked by her lover John Bryan, unleashing the ire of the Duke of Edinburgh. But now that Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Philip are gone, it’s up to King Charles III to make the Christmas invitations which is why “Red Fergie” is included in Sandringham’s guest listalong with her ex-husband and daughters Beatrice and Eugenia, waited at the residence, where the late sovereign spent the holidays, along with their respective husbands and children.

“Andrea has been banned from public life and official duties (following the Epstein scandal, ed.), but he certainly cannot be banned from family Christmas – an anonymous source from the Norfolk building revealed to the Sun and staff van Sandringham was commissioned to prepare Wood Farm cottage for the entire York family Since her divorce from Andrea and when Philip and the Queen were alive, Sarah is no longer allowed to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the family and relatives. For 30 years she spent the day alonebut now things are different”.

If Ferguson accepts the invitation (both her and Buckingham Palace spokespersons have not yet commented on the matter), it means she will join the rest of the royal family on Christmas Eve and that will attend the traditional walk on December 25 to St. Mary Magdalene Churchas well as Christmas lunch and dinner and will exchange gifts with all the other members of the royal family at the White Room in Sandringham.
