Akis Petretzikis, Konstantina Papamichael and Aquilina’s older brother Achilleas gathered around to celebrate her first birthday on Sunday, September 17th.
The chef shared footage from his little daughter’s pink party the next day on his personal Instagram account. You will see in them family of four in happy momentsdecorating the party in every shade of pink imaginable, as well as Aquilina’s impressive three-tier birthday cake the top of which was decorated with a crown. As you understand, Aquilina is the “princess” of the couple’s heart.

A year later, the chef and his family celebrated their anniversary in the company of the most beautiful woman on earth. “And we baked a cake, inflated balloons and played, because yesterday our girl turned one. Long live our little Aquilina! (Okay, Achilles blew out the candle)” he wrote, stating at the same time “proud dad” Akis Petretzikis accompanying photographs.
The highlight occurred in the comments, where Akis Petretsikis clarified that The blockbuster cake you see was made not by him, but by “mom”his wife Konstantina Papamichael.
And while you see a happy family celebrating in the foreground, in the background of the photos, as some of Akis Petretzikis’ 1.8 million followers noted, they noticed patches of burnt trees in the background. “Am I the only one who sees the burns?” someone wondered. Akis Petretzikis commented with a sad emoticon. “From behind is burnt and in front is hope”– someone commented again, expressing the contrast he saw with the mood of optimism. Because hope is always hidden in children.
