The first edition of the Healthcare Innovation Forum, a meeting about innovations in the healthcare sector, will take place in Rome on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Organized by Core, in collaboration with the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, former academic partner of the initiative, the Forum will have five central themes. The respective roundtables will be structured around these: open innovation in healthcare, health and care 4.0, health and big data and IomT (Internet of Medical Things), proximity medicine, personalized therapies and new frontiers of medicine, the start-up world of the sector.

Healthcare innovation forum was born

Born with the aim of analyzing the main transformations in this field, the potential of technological innovation and digitalization to design the medicine of the future, the first edition of Healthcare Innovation Forum will receive very important names. Carlo Tosti, President of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation and of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, opens the proceedings together with Andrea Rossi, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. as CODAU Vice President (Conference of the General Managers of University Administrations). After a contribution from the Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, the institutional panel will start, in which will participate: Eugenio Guglielmelli, Rector, Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, Vincenzo Denaro, Scientific Director, Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation of Rome ; Maria Chiara Carrozza, President, National Research Council (CNR) and Alessandro Francolini, Chief Executive Officer, Cicero Digital Innovation Hub Lazio, as well as Vice President of Unindustria with responsibility for university, research and technology transfer relations;

But the guests don’t stop there. Among academics and representatives of the associative world, institutional and business stakeholders, the following will also intervene: Silvio Brusaferro, President, Istituto Superiore di Sanità; Chiara Colosimo, Member of the Social Affairs Committee, Chamber of Deputies; Luigi De Costanzo, Director, ELIS Innovation Hub; Mara Corbo, Senior Value & Policy Manager, Medtronic Italy; Massimiliano Ambra, Rectorial Staff – Innovation and Relations with Industry, Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome; Andrea Leonardo, Healthcare Sales Director Central-Italy, Engineering and Marco Spartà, Product Marketing & R&D Manager, Bioduct Srl Biesse Medica, Engineering, GNMS and Medtronic are the partners of the initiative, while AdnKronos and Skytg24 are the media partners of the event.
