Victory for the Biancocelesti who take the first full loot of the season. Under a goal and a man, Sarri’s team topple with a De Silvestri own goal for the Lazio captain’s decisive seal
Lazio defeated Bologna 2-1 (0-1) in a match of the 1st day of the Serie A football championship, played on the grounds of the Olympic stadium in Rome. Despite suffering too much and thanks to the usual Immobile, Lazio beat Bologna in comeback and took the first full loot of the season. Under a goal (penalty by Arnautovic) and a man (red for Maximiano), Sarri’s side scores the goal with an own goal from De Silvestri for the decisive seal of the Biancoceleste captain. Pretty much everything happens in a sizzling first half: the first turn comes at 5′, when rookie Maximiano makes a sensational mistake by taking the ball out of the area with his hands. Referee and linesman let it go on, but the Var does not forgive the new biancoceleste goalkeeper, expelled under Lazio’s futile protests (HIGHLIGHTS OF THE OTHER MATCHES).
