Cypriot “Aris” striker Alexander Kokorin said whether he is ready to play for the Russian national team. The striker admitted that he still wants to wear the shirt of the main team of the country.
Kokorin does not see the need to call to the location of the Russian national team at the moment. Although there are no official matches, it is better to play with younger players. Kokorin emphasized that he is ready to play for the Russian national team only in an official match.
“If the team has an official match, I want to return to the team. It is an incredible feeling to wear the Russian national team’s t-shirt, but not as it is now,” the Italian edition of Foot Mercato quotes in Russian.
Earlier, it was learned that Kokorin could stay in Aris after the lease agreement with Fiorentina is completed. Interest in continued cooperation with the Russians was expressed by the mentor of the Cypriots, Alexei Shpilevsky.
