Moscow football club CSKA plans to hold the award ceremony for the silver medalists of the Russian Premier League (RPL) of the 2022/2023 season at its stadium and in the presence of the fans. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the general manager of the team. Roman Babayev.
It was announced that the final decision on this issue has not been made yet. The date of the award ceremony is unknown. According to Babaev, the “army” leadership is waiting for information from the RPL.
“In the near future, I think even today I will meet with the President of RPL and we will discuss it. “We want to do this in the stadium with the fans,” said CSKA general director.
According to the results of the current season of the Russian championship, another Moscow club “Spartak” took the third place in the ranking. After the defeat of Samara “Wings of the Soviets” with a score of 1: 0, the “red-whites” could not rise higher.
