Former Spartak Moscow coach Massimo Carrera said that the players of the capital club Zenit St. He believes that he should organize a championship corridor for St. Petersburg.
Massimo Carrera urged Spartak players to pay tribute to their Zenit players and organize a championship lane for them, ahead of the RPL match to be held in Moscow on May 15. The former mentor of the red-and-whites expressed his opinion in a conversation with RB-Sport journalists.
“Even if there is competition between teams, there is nothing wrong with paying tribute and applauding the winners – Zenit! By the way, teams do this in many leagues and even in the Champions League finals!” – said the Italian coach.
Last week, Zenit became the football champion of Russia for the fourth time in a row. After defeating Lokomotiv Moscow, Sergei Semak’s team became inaccessible for opponents in the RPL standings.
