According to currently released forecasts, the Galaxy S22 Ultra could outperform the successful and currently non-functional Galaxy Note sales.
With all the signs, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has sold 10.9 million units, making it one of Samsung’s most popular smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a new star for Samsung and users
Last week, Samsung confirmed that the now obsolete Galaxy Note will “live in the form of the Galaxy S Ultra” in the future. In other words, the Korean giant will not release any more Note models, and the S Ultra series will be the successor model.
Looking at both devices, this strategy makes perfect sense. After all, the S Ultra family inherits huge display and pen support from the popular Note series. But now there is news that the Galaxy S22 Ultra may replace the notes and purchase intentions in the user’s mind.
According to the well-known leaker Ice Universe, Samsung predicts that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will reach 10.9 million units worldwide annually. Now, considering that the most successful notebook was the Model 8, which sold 10 million units in the first year, there seems to be a new favorite among users.
This is good news for the Korean giant. Especially considering that some market analysts have pointed out a decrease of more than 7% in the smartphone sales segment. Once this forecast is confirmed, Samsung will be able to record numbers and values from 2017, when the market was at its peak.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Arguments
Despite being launched in February, the Galaxy S22 Ultra remains up to date with its top specs. The European model has a brand-specific Exynos 2200 chip built in and paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
But perhaps one of the best discussions is the included optics. In the quad rear camera configuration, the model has a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 10-megapixel periscope sensor, a 10-megapixel telescope sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
Note that the first three sensors have an optical image stabilizer and the device has a built-in ability to record 8K video. Next, the front camera registers a resolution of 40 megapixels and the ability to record 4K video.
