The Samsung Galaxy S23 is the base version of the latest high-end smartphone from Korean technology. The autonomy of smartphones has increased compared to previous generations. However, the DxOMark test didn’t seem to impress much.
Recently, the platform shared its conclusions from a battery test run on the Galaxy S23.And the smartphone managed just 109 points, placing it 83rd in the global rankings and 16th in the premium rankings.
It was far from the leader in its segment, lagging behind rivals such as the iPhone 14 (112 points) and iPhone 13 (115 points). Xiaomi 13 (128 points), Oppo Reno6 5G (130 points) and Vivo X60 5G (133 points) lead the field.

Therefore, the smartphone was below average for the DxOMark criteria. However, it ultimately eclipsed its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S22, both in terms of autonomy and efficiency.
The Galaxy S23 has a 3900 mAh battery, 25 W wired charging, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 6.1 inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen at 120 Hz.
