Xiaomi Civi 3 is official: the new midrange you can’t buy

As expected, this morning Xiaomi launched a new smartphone.it is called Xiaomi CIVI3is the brand’s latest device for the style-focused midrange segment.

As usual in this line, the Civi 3 is Chinese market dedicated device. This means that it cannot be purchased under this name in Europe. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be marketed under another name in the future. Remember. Civi 2 is on sale here, while Xiaomi 13 Lite is on sale here.

But let’s look at the details. This is certainly one of the most beautiful devices we have seen in recent times. The back is two-tone, with the main color on top and a fade effect. Choose from purple, mint, and gold.

The three-chambered island is circular, located in the upper left corner, and its surrounding ring, along with the rest of the rear, is panda-shaped. Inside is his 50 MP main camera with OIS, 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor with promising performance and 5G support. The user can choose between 12 or 16 GB of his LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage.

It’s powered by MIUI 14 with Android 13 right out of the box and a 4500 mAh battery with 67 W of wired charging. As for connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC.

The base model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage costs 2499 yuan (330 euros) in China. With 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, the top-end model arrives domestically at 2999 yuan (396 euros).
