Oppo has announced new global brand ambassadors for its UEFA Champions League partnership. It’s Brazilian footballer Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, aka Kaka.
The choice is very strong as Kaka has been named FIFA’s Player of the Year and won the Golden Ball, Champions League and World Cup. He is one of the great footballers of our time and will no doubt add to the brand name.
Now with Oppo, Kaka will return to the Ataturk Olympic Stadium. It was where the final was held in 2005, when Milan, who belong to them, lost to Liverpool on penalties. The soccer player is back, this time in a different role.
Oppo wants fans to share miraculous moments from their favorite football matches
“Partnering with a UEFA Champions League-class global sporting event provides OPPO with an unparalleled opportunity to share the spirit of mutual inspiration with audiences around the world. We believe that miracles just happen. We believe it comes from expertise and perseverance, not things,” said Elvis Zhou, CMO of Oppo.
The executive added, “With Kaka, the witness and creator of miracles, joining the OPPO team this year, we will be better able to communicate and interact with fans around the world, and watch the miracles of our favorite football match.” It can inspire them to enjoy, experience and share their moments.” ”.
In a statement, Oppo also revealed that Kaka will visit Jakarta, Indonesia and Beijing, China in early June for a series of activities promoted by the brand. He will be attending the Champions League final in Turkey to meet his fans and take pictures with them using the Find N2 Flip and Find X6 Pro.
