Made for video games, but works great with all other devices as well. Katana V2, Creative’s sound blaster, is perfect for music, movies, TV and immersive gaming. We’ve tried it for you. Here’s our review
In the box we find the soundbar, the subwoofer, the remote control, the instructions and the brackets to be able to mount everything on the wall.
Installation is simple and takes up little space. Many ports to connect Katana V2 to different devices: usb, jack, hdmi, bluetooth and optical input. Different usage profiles. In addition to the classic music, gaming and movie presets, specific profiles have also been added for personalized playback with headphones. The Creative soundbar also supports Dolby Audio and the total output power reaches 252 watts.
In our test, Katana performed very well when displaying television content, listening to music from smartphone applications, and playing video games.
The design is also very precise, we appreciated the presence of the customizable RGB LED band via the remote control. You can manage the settings and adjust the soundbar with the Creative app. The costs are almost 350 euros.
