WhatsApp is one of the best instant messaging apps as new features are added to the application regularly and the platform is continuously improved. It provided a nice feature for those who regularly send images this way.

First of all, the iOS, i.e. iPhone application added the ability to send high resolution photos, a new HD mode for sending this kind of content. Users enrolled in the beta program will have this option available in their settings.

The news was spotted by WABetaInfo, a publication that keeps an eye on WhatsApp’s design showing the availability of new features. Please note that it will be available for iOS users first.

Specifically, if you have already registered through the TestFlight application, you will now be able to directly test new features of the iPhone messaging app. Meanwhile, Android users are not expected to be late in receiving this news either.

At issue is WhatsApp for iPhone (beta) version for iOS and version for Android, available from the Google Play store. This means that both platforms will offer the same functionality within days.

This new feature will allow both platforms to send high-quality content, i.e. images, without quality loss via WhatsApp. Its existence was already known through leaks, but now it has its first valid distribution for the iPhone.

Going forward, we’ll have to wait until the ability to upload images in HD is available on both platforms and in a later stable release.

WhatsApp communities also have new features

WhatsApp keyboard update is also coming for community users of this application. The news will be first delivered to Android users in version available from the Google Play store.

From our new organization of keyboard content, such as emojis and other input options, we also have a new more modern and elegant keyboard design with specific features for our community.

In any case, this same keyboard should be available in all WhatsApp sections and chat windows.
