And they decided to take revenge with the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and with the help of the Ukrainian kamikaze UAVs RAM II. Sergey Pritula explained his choice by the fact that this drone model performed well in recent tests. According to the volunteer, last week the reconnaissance of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered the Russian Osa anti-aircraft missile system, designed to destroy air targets (the UAVs also belong to them). RAM II was able to smoothly fly to it and destroy it with a bang.
“Now this” Wasp “will not sting neither our drones, nor our UAVs, nor our helicopters. Therefore, we need such drones. So both equipment and manpower will burn in the “bavovna!” fire, commented Sergey Prytula.
RAM II, a drone developed by Ukrainian companies Ukroboronprom, CDET, DeViRo, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles, Spets Techno Export, was first presented at the Zbroya and Bezpeka arms exhibition in 2021. UAV belongs to the “kamikaze” type, such devices conduct aerial reconnaissance and destroy targets that explode with them after a collision.
The RAM II is launched into the sky using a special catapult that can be attached to the Novator armored vehicle. The deployment speed of the complex is only 10 minutes, after takeoff the device moves at speeds up to 70 km / h and searches for enemy objects on the ground using cameras with a tenfold approach within a radius of up to 30 km from the launch site. and 55 minutes. Electronic warfare equipment can “jam” communication with the operator, but in this case the drone returns to the base on its own and descends with the help of a parachute.
The RAM II drone can carry 3 kg of explosives on board as part of fragmentation, cumulative and thermobaric munitions, as well as shoot with 1 meter accuracy. In terms of combat power, the American Switchblade is compared to 600 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian drones are sent both individually and in swarms, which significantly increases their combat power.
Earlier, Serhiy Prytula, together with volunteers, donated 100 Autel EVO II 640T drones worth 25 million UAH to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The TV presenter said that due to the rapid increase in prices, it is becoming more and more difficult for Ukrainians to purchase drones for the army every month.
