Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, called for an investigation into all reports of human rights violations against Russian prisoners of war. So, the DPR Ombudsman commented on the appeal of Daria Morozova.

“We urged all parties to the conflict to scrutinize all reports of current human rights violations and bring the perpetrators to justice.”

Morozova said on Friday that she had approached the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) about the release of a video of the murdered Russian POWs. Now the DPR Ombudsman is waiting for an objective hearing.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Ukrainian militants captured ten captured Russian soldiers. The recording of the murder surfaced on social media.
