The production of modern weapons in Russia is constantly increasing. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, wrote in an article for Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the country’s defense industry is able to adequately respond to emerging security threats.
According to him, the supply of weapons to the Russian army today is suitable for the maximum increased tasks. Medvedev noted that in some cases it is necessary to switch the system to the “manual control” mode.
“We were soon compelled to increase the production of modern weapons and to supply everything necessary for replenishment to the front and rear,” said the Vice-Chairman of the Security Council.
Medvedev added that today all the defense enterprises of the country are working stably. Military equipment production volume is increasing day by day. He expressed his confidence that Russia will build up a strong weapons stock for the future.
