The British Air Force is unsure if it can train Ukrainian pilots to fly Western warplanes. This is indicated in the material of the Sky News channel.
The difficulties are linked to the British army’s shortage of trainers. According to a channel source, the Royal Air Force can’t even train its own pilots. In this regard, they doubt that they will be able to train Ukrainian pilots in a short time. Also, a Sky News source questioned the transfer of British fighters to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“We have made it clear that we cannot train our own pilots. “The soldiers waiting in line for the training flights are in shock,” he said.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the timing of the delivery of Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. According to him, Kiev will receive this armored vehicle by March.
