“Riga Business School”, with the aim of promoting technology learning among students who choose a different field for their undergraduate studies, “Riga Business School” invites you to learn the basics of computer science and programming for free in the spring “Riga communication representative” Business School” Agnese Strazda.
The training will be given by “Riga Business School” as the structural unit of Riga Technical University. The curriculum was created using Harvard University’s computer science course “CS50’s introduction to the intellectual initiatives of computer science”. The training, which will start at the beginning of March, is planned to end in the beginning of June.
The training course will consist of two groups for training in English and Latvian. The English study group will start its training on March 9 this year and will end on June 8 this year.
The working group in Latvia will start their training on March 7 this year and will finish on June 6 this year.
The computer science and programming course will begin with the “C” programming language, which is the foundation of today’s newest programming languages. The course will then introduce the Python programming language.
Towards the end of the semester, the course will teach you about “SQL” for creating databases and “HTML”, “CSS” and “JavaScript” which can be used to build websites and mobile applications. A final assignment is expected at the end of the course.
The course includes a total of 13 face-to-face interviews. The learning of the course is based on practice at the best universities in the world – active learning at home, discussion of content learned during face-to-face consultations, as well as assessment of knowledge testing through presentations of project work and a Scale.
