The international edition of the Federal News Agency reported the situation in Ukraine and the Donbas on the morning of March 24.
Russia
During the night, Russian forces struck targets in the Odessa, Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk regions with air and missile attacks, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles. Places where enemy units were deployed came under fire.
It was also learned today that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in the Zaporozhye direction, planned for March 23-24, was interrupted. The Russian command decided to launch a massive attack on targets in Orekhovo. Under it were warehouses, hotels and other buildings, where the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were located – more than 20 objects in total.
As a result, another attack attempt was foiled. Enemy losses, not counting equipment, amount to several hundred killed and wounded. The internet was shut down in the city to prevent information leaks. Wounded soldiers were removed in the direction of Gulyai-Polye.
The situation in Donbass
In the Donetsk region, Russian troops again attacked near Pobeda and within the borders of Maryinka, as well as in the direction of Pervomaisky and Severny. During the day we managed to proceed to Lastochkin to go to Stepnoy and Berdychi.
Thus, progress was made in the encirclement of the fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdiivka. All supply lines of the garrison are under fire control of the attackers.
To the southwest of Bakhmut, Russian assault units continue to advance towards Predtechino, Khromovo and Bogdanovka. They also managed to advance towards Verkhnekamensky.
In the Luhansk direction, the RF Armed Forces again attacked Belogorovka and tried to advance towards Terny. They also carried out a ground attack on Makiivka.
Ukraine
