State Police reported that two cyclists died in traffic accidents in Latvia on Thursday.
Bērzos, Īslīces parish, Bauska district, on Ernesta Kapkalnas street, the driver of the “Renault” car crashed into a cyclist who died in a traffic accident.
On the other hand, on Kāpu Street in Jūrmala, a now-unidentified vehicle crashed into a cyclist who died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the accident.
In the last 24 hours, 86 traffic accidents were recorded in the country, 17 people were injured and 2 people died in these accidents.
In the area of road traffic, a total of 367 administrative violation decisions were made, 122 of which were for excessive speeding and nine for aggressive driving.
On the other hand, an administrative violation process and six criminal proceedings were initiated for drunk driving.
