The winner will be the candidate who exceeds the 50% mark.

Türkiye president Recep Tayyip Erdogan Two days before the second round of the elections, he called on his citizens to participate in the voting.

The incident took place during the Women’s Gathering rally organized by the women’s branches of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

“I have walked with you throughout my 40 years of political life, and I have come to where I am today thanks to the pleas of my mothers. “Women are the heroes of the struggle that serves the country and the nation.”

Connecting the second round of elections to the anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul, Erdogan said, “We will achieve victory on Sunday, we will celebrate the conquest of Istanbul on Monday.”

“Don’t make plans for Sunday. This opportunity comes every five years. “You can go on a picnic or work another day, but there will be no opportunity to vote,” he said.

The second round of the referendum in the Republic is scheduled for 28 May. In the first place, Erdogan received 49% of the votes, while his main rival Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu received 44%. Now both candidates are struggling to win voters over to their side.
