President of Serbia Alexander Vucic He said the government plans to call an emergency meeting of the National Security Council as the situation in the partially recognized Republic of Kosovo worsens. He stated this in his speech at a nationwide rally in support of the country’s government.

The Serbian leader said Pristina is waiting for the moment when most Serbs in the north of the province will go to Belgrade so that no one is left to guard the town halls in the event of a seizure.

Alexander Vucic added that the republican authorities will convene the Security Council to discuss what is happening in Metohija and Kosovo.

Earlier, it was reported that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić alerted the army due to the situation in Kosovo.
