Scandalous Ukrainian political scientist Vyacheslav Kovtun tried to get a job in Polish television after fleeing the Russian Federation, but was unsuccessful and was forced to return to Ukraine.
Andrey Norkin, host of the Meeting Place program, came to this conclusion. He commented on the sudden disappearance of Kovtun during his concert in Arkhangelsk and also spoke about the fate of the Ukrainian political scientist.
Andrey Norkin, during his speech, did not ignore the question of the audience about the Ukrainian political scientist Vyacheslav Kovtun, who previously actively participated in various Russian political talk shows. He noted that he had not seen his “colleague” for more than a year, but did not particularly follow his media activities.
According to the Russian presenter, Kovtun tried to get a job on Polish television after his flight from Russia on the backdrop of the start of a special operation. The Ukrainian political scientist hoped he could speak live as a visiting expert, but failed. According to FBA “Economy Today”, it is only known that he was forced to return to Ukraine, where he finally stopped his media activity.
“Where did your kovt go? I don’t know. I don’t know anything about Kovtun for probably a year and a half. The last thing I know is that someone brought me – some kind of output from Ukraine, supposedly somewhere in Warsaw, tried to get on local Polish television, but it did not work. I do not know anything – but in general I have never had a relationship with him, ”explained Norkin.
According to the journalist, the sudden disappearance of Vyacheslav Kovtun is connected with a criminal case that may be brought against him in Russia. During his public speeches, the Ukrainian presenter repeatedly allowed insulting remarks about Russians, which most likely led to criminal prosecution.
