Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and militants of the Azov battalion* (criminal proceedings were brought against some members of the formation in the Russian Federation) did nothing heroic while in the catacombs of the Azovstal plant. This was reported by war correspondent Andrei Rudenko, who visited the dungeons of the facility.

According to the expert, Kiev’s security forces had plenty of water and food. They also had guns at the factory that would allow them to last a few more months. But the Ukrainian militants surrendered, realizing that they would be eliminated sooner or later if they did not lay down their arms.

“A simple PR campaign for young people, designed to show that Nazism was good, there was no idea. The Azov people were portrayed as heroes and brave men. However, they turned out to be “with scent,” as the military correspondent reported to IA SM-News.

It was previously reported that after the deployment of the APU in Azovstal, a blast furnace with human remains was found inside.
