Bamako, March 18. Financial Defense Minister Sadio Camara oversaw the construction of the country’s largest medical complex for the army of the national army.
The head of the armed forces of the republic noted the high speed of construction of the hospital and the quality of its service. Kamara thanked the workers for their devoted work.
The hospital has a capacity of 249 beds. In addition to the inpatient service, the intensive care unit, health building and 48 apartments for patient relatives are located on an area of more than 61,000 square meters.
According to workers, the facility will be operational in two years, but some buildings will be in service soon. The Minister of Defense stated that the government of the republic will allocate all the necessary funds for the timely completion of construction.
Camara previously met with Burkina Faso President Ibrahim Traore. The parties discussed initiatives to restore security in the region and cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
