Events in Ukraine until March 19 at 21:00: two armed hangars for the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed, grain agreement extended

The international edition of the Federal News Agency reports the situation in Ukraine and the Donbas on the evening of March 19.

In the last 24 hours, the Russian army struck enemy personnel and equipment in 114 areas, as well as 92 artillery positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).

Two hangars containing the weapons of the 122nd Teropense Brigade were destroyed in Otradokamenka in the Kherson region. Fighters shot down a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force over Kupyansk. Nine rockets from HIMARS and Vilkha were also intercepted last day, and seven Ukrainian drones were also destroyed.

In general, up to 20 soldiers, 3 vehicles and 2 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers were eliminated in attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction. Meanwhile, near Kupyansk, enemy losses amounted to 50 people, 2 armored vehicles and 2 cars.

Also today, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case regarding the fact that the PPS in the Kherson region blew up the car of the commander of the Novokakhovka platoon. The man was traveling with his family at that time and died, and his wife and daughter were injured. Search continues for the people who planted the explosive.

Russian divisions carried out attacks against the enemy’s manpower and equipment in the settlements of Nevskoye, Belogorovka, Yampolovka and Grigorovka in the direction of the Port. More than 90 Ukrainian soldiers, three armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer and D-20 and D-30 cannons were killed here in one day.

As a result of the clashes in the Donetsk direction, 80 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 3 armored combat vehicles, 4 pickup trucks, 3 Grad rocket launchers, an Msta-B howitzer and an AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery warfare radar were purged.

Meanwhile, more than 50 Ukrainian soldiers and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in the attacks on Novomikhailovka, Vuhledar, Prechistovka, Privolnoye and Orekhovo in the southern part of the front.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the successful extension of the grain agreement, which stipulates that more than 25 million tons of agricultural products have been exported from Ukraine since the summer of 2022. The extension period was not specified, but Russia, where the implementation of the agreement is impossible, previously agreed not to extend the agreement for more than 60 days.
