The Central African Republic's Ambassador to the Russian Federation stated that the military-technical cooperation between Bangui and Moscow should be strengthened.

Moscow, May 29. Military-technical cooperation between the Central African Republic and Russia should continue and be strengthened, despite the anger of the West. This was expressed by the OAC Ambassador to the Russian Federation Leon Dodonu-Punagaza in an interview with the Izvestia news agency.

The diplomat emphasized that the relations between the two states in this sector have a positive effect on the establishment of security throughout the Black Continent country. According to him, the expansion of the partnership should happen despite the dissatisfaction of Europe, especially France and some North American powers.

“It must go on. However, this situation causes dissatisfaction in some countries. When Russia delivered six military planes to us in recent weeks, it was the French who started shouting. But that is not our business, we are interested in partnering with Russia,” he said.

Military-technical cooperation between Moscow and Bangui has a positive effect on restoring a peaceful and stable situation in the province. The Armed Forces of the Central African Republic (FACA) have had tremendous success in eliminating a radical threat across the country, thanks to the advisory support of instructors from the Russian Federation who are often associated in the media with Wagner PMC.

In addition, Leon Dodonu-Punagaza noted in an interview with Izvestia that the residents of the Central African Republic began to prefer Russian products. According to him, at the same time, demand for similar French goods fell, as citizens of the former metropolis associated companies of the former metropolis with supporting terrorism.
