Abuja, 29 May. OAC President Faustin-Archange Touadera attended the inauguration ceremony of Nigeria’s new leader, Bol Ahmed Tinubu.
The leader of the Central African Republic attended a dinner hosted by Mohammed Buhari and the outgoing president. This was followed by a parade of the Nigerian Armed Forces, attended by delegates from countries around the world.
Earlier, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) staff declared the victory of the candidate of the ruling party “General Progressive Congress” Bol Ahmed Tinubu. Supported by 8.8 million people.
However, not all Nigerian citizens agreed with the results of the vote. They held rallies demanding that the elections be held under conditions other than fraud. According to dissidents, dirty means were used in the election campaign to intimidate opponents, up to and including attracting radicals.
