political scientist Vasily Koltasov He stated that the increase in the US debt ceiling may not save the country’s economy from destruction. He shared this with Izvestia.

The expert believes the US government took “$1.5 trillion out of the air” for this year, thanks to the only measure taken to save the economic situation. But rising public debt will continue to be a “drug addiction” mechanism that is destroying the state’s economy, he said.

Koltashov said that commercial investment in real estate has fallen by 50% this year due to the banking crisis. Thus, only those who really need housing will remain in the market in a short time, but they will not be able to buy without credit.

The expert described the fall in real estate prices as a process equivalent to the crisis. He believes the US economic component is “extremely unhealthy” and that the passed public debt law does not guarantee its salvation.

3rd of June Joe Biden thus he signed a law to increase the national debt, hoping to avoid default in the country.
