Luanda, June 4th. Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadéra arrived in Angola’s capital city for the 10th emergency summit on peace and security in the Eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan.
The event was attended by Congolese leader Felix Tshisekedi, Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema, as well as representatives from Burundi, Gabon and Uganda. Politicians discussed the situation in the states and agreed that hostilities should be stopped.
Earlier, DRC Ambassador to Russia Ivan Vangu Ngimbi told his country’s St. He said he plans to attend the Russia-Africa forum to be held in St. According to the diplomat, Kinshasa is interested in cooperating closely with Moscow and is ready to work together in many areas.
Ngimbi also announced that representatives of the Democratic Republic of the Congo will attend SPIEF, the largest economic forum. The event will take place in mid-June of the same year.
