The Strategic Communications Center of the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the Russian air defense complex “Triumf” was destroyed in the attack carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday near Eupatoria in occupied Crimea.
The strategic communication center on the Telegram platform said, “In the morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the location of the enemy’s surface-to-air missile complex near Eupatoria in temporarily occupied Crimea,” and noted that the attack caused damage worth 1.2. billion US dollars.
On the other hand, a source in the Ukrainian Armed Forces told the portal “Ukrainska Pravda” that Ukrainian drones first hit the “eyes” of the complex – radars and antennas – but after the radar stations were disabled, two cruise missiles hit. Neptune, launched by the Ukrainian Navy, hit the S-300/400 “Triumf” launch complexes.
On Thursday morning, Eupatoria residents reported on social networks that drones were flying over the city and loud explosions were heard.
