The State Data Agency announced that the volume of production and sales of industrial products at current prices in Lithuania in August was three billion euros, which is 6.7% less than in the eighth month of last year.
Compared to the previous month, industrial production in Lithuania increased by 3.8% in August.
While the production of the Lithuanian manufacturing industry decreased by 2.8% annually in August, it increased by 3.5% monthly. Excluding oil refining, the annual decline was 2.7%, but increased by 3.7% compared to July.
In the January-August period, industrial production in Lithuania reached 23.2 billion euros at current prices; This is 6.6% lower than in the first eight months of last year.
It was announced that last year the production and sales volume of Lithuanian industrial products at constant prices was 38.4 billion euros, that is, 9.4% more than in 2021.
